Ms. Patricia Yadgir’s dedication to the field of education expands over 30 years. She currently serves as Chief Administrative Officer for American Quality Schools, a not for profit educational management organization. In this role, she takes a hands-on approach in all aspects of charter school management, including board relations, budget, staffing and professional development.
With extensive interest and experience in social emotional learning, Ms. Yadgir served for 23 years as a college counselor and adjunct professor. Prior to this higher education leadership role, Ms. Yadgir spent several years teaching as an early childhood expert. Patty has authored books on social emotional skills for students in elementary and secondary school, and has taught professional development to educators on social emotional skill building.
Ms Yadgir also serves as a Commissioner on the Illinois Executive Ethics Commission; enforcing the Illinois Ethics Act for all employees of the executive branch of Illinois government and ensuring annual ethics training for all state employees. She also is a past commissioner of the Illinois Human Rights Commission. Ms. Yadgir holds a BA in Communications and a MS in Education.
